Can I call to book?
All bookings are via the website only.
How much is it to stay?
The cost depends on the unit, the day, number of guests and the season. Therefore, we are unable to give you a price for an unspecified stay. Units start from £150pn and prices for all available units are shown as soon as you select your dates and number of guests.
Are you dog-friendly?
Yes – 2 of our cabins are dog-friendly. The Black Swan and The Westie. If you are bringing a dog you must chose the dog extra on booking. These cabins are then supplied with both dog beds indoors for house dogs and a kennel and pen outdoors for larger dogs. The pods themselves are not enclosed and dogs must always be kept on a leash to protect out wildlife. (birds, ducks etc)
Are your cabins wheelchair accessible?
Two of our larger cabins (The Beltie and The Highlander) are easily accessible with no steps and plenty of space inside. These have a double murphy bed on the ground level meaning it can be folded away when not in use. Unfortunately, the shower rooms in the pods are not considered fully accessible having size constraints, so some mobility would be required. Shower chairs can be supplied on request. If you would like to arrange a visit to check out the spaces, please let us know.
What are the food options?
There are a number of restaurants in nearby towns, some of our personal favorites are The Boathouse (Antrim), District 45 (Magherafelt) or Gillies at the Galgorm (Ballymena). Our local pizza and chinese restaurants also deliver to site - we provide telephone numbers in the cabin welcome packs. (N.B. Sterling cash required for chinese delivery)
Can we fish on/swim in the lake?
While there are fish in the lake, we ask our guests not to fish as our focus is on protecting the wildlife and natural diversity of the area. Swimming is similarly not permitted.
What are check in/out times? What is included in the price?
We supply all bed linens, towels, robes (adults only), a generous welcome basket complete with complimentary refreshments, snacks and muesli (and milk in the full size refrigerator). A Dulce Gusto coffee machine is supplied in each cabin. (For further details on individual cabin cooking facilites please refer to the cabins individual page under the Accommodations tab. ) All guests have access to our communal event space the Lookout (unless booked for a private function) and each cabin has a private hot-tub with the Nest having both a private hot-tub and sauna.
What is the best unit for me?
This really depends on the size of your group and personal preferences! Please look at the photos and read the details for each unit on our website and let us know if you have any specific questions.

EXCELLENT Based on 201 reviews Joanna Barnes2025-02-03 This was our second time visiting Cotters Park and it was every bit as good as our first trip. Ideal for a relaxing, luxury time away. Can't recommend enough. We've stayed in the Westie (both trips) which is dog friendly so allows us to bring our little dog with us. Magical stay Charlotte Irvine2025-02-03 Four of us booked the Highlander after seeing it on Instagram. We loved our pod which had fantastic amenities and a great view of the lake. We loved that all pods have private hot tubs and The staff were fantastic, very helpful and attentive. My favourite part of the experience was having the resident birds join us at our pod. It was wonderful and we can’t wait to come back. Julie McMullan2025-01-29 Wow just wow! So I literally live 2 minutes away from here though during storm Eowyn we like many others lost our electricity. James and Ruth very kindly offered discounted rates for local people in this position and always being curious about the glamping pods I jumped at their very generous offer, taking my 17 and 14 year old with me while hubby was working nights. Two minutes up the road and a whole different world! This place is breathtaking! We stayed in 'The Westie' a shepherd's hut with EVERYTHING you would need while away. Bunk beds- double bunk on the bottom, really comfy with warm bedding, single on top and a sofa that can convert to a double bed. The kitcheh consists of a hob with 2 hot plates and an oven. A fridge, crockery, glasses and cutlery for 4, cooking utensils, frying pan, 2 saucepans, toaster. A coffee maker with pods and hot chocolate and a kettle. Milk, tea bags, coffee, sugar, oil, granola and some wee treats. Shower room with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and hair dryer and a room with toilet and wash hand basin. Wifi included and a smart tv Robes and towels for your own private hot tub right beside the pod. We loved the pod, it was cosy and comfortable and met all our needs. We also loved the hot tub. A wee dip in the morning watching the sun rise was pure bliss and very relaxing. Wheel barrows are provided to take your luggage to the pods which saves multiple trips. Cotters Park itself what can I say I'm in love. This place is senerity! To have that beautiful pond and watch all the waterfowl, as well as the peacock and peahen, the wee white rabbit, the hens that all roam freely is fabulous! Sauna and ice bath on site too. Ruth and James are all about sustainability and biodiversity and have put so much thought and effort into not having an adverse effect on local wildlife, like using red lighting to make sure the local bat population are still as active. There is obviously a lot of hard work that goes on behind the scenes to maintain this 'little peace of heaven on earth' It is obvious to see the staff care about what they do. A special shout to Stephanie who goes above and beyond for all guests! Super friendly, extremely approachable and NOTHING is too much of an effort. This is the most tranquil, relaxing place, I cannot recommend it highly enough so stop reading and just go book you will not be disappointed. The kids loved it too, chilled in the Look out over a bridge on the pond. Enjoyed playing darts and Jenga (other games are also included) lovely decking with picnic tables, pizza oven and fire pit. Smart tv and oven in the look out as well. Large enough space for a party. We will be back!! caitlin connolly2025-01-29 Ruth and James were so kind and helpful from the minute we got down to cotters park to the minute we left. We spent two nights in the Beltie and it was just tranquil the peace and quiet enjoying each others company. Would 100% recommend cotters park to anyone who would like an escape from reality and just to relax. Highly recommend and will definitely be back Katie Young2025-01-21 Cotters Park was a wonderful, relaxing experience that we will definitely be returning to and highly recommend to other people. The staff are very friendly, even when we went in the icy weather, the morning we were leaving, they came and helped us scrape ice off the car. The location is beautiful and especially at sunset, walking around the lake was wonderful. I would highly recommend Cotters Park to anyone looking to get away for a night, and it even includes a private hot tub!! Yvonne rock2025-01-18 We stayed in the Black Swan. Absolutely amazing place. Stunning views, perfect accommodation, great staff, outstanding facilities. Tranquil setting means you have a super relaxed stay. Sauna, games, chickens, peacocks, swans, rabbit, local takeouts all make for a perfect break. Loved the wheelbarrow to transfer luggage. We had the best time. Can't wait to come back!
